She was listed as a widow, so the Captain must have already been deceased by then. Everything else fits though, and Maria shows a birthplace of Canada. Maybe she was Maria Augusta -- the Maria is often not used for being too common. Anyhow, it is a great image, very nicely tinted. We have Ada's parents listed as Capt. A.S. and Augusta Josselyn. Augusta was the daughter of Isaac Lacey, my great, great, great grandfather.
